 The Fraser Fir is a fragrant evergreen tree native to the Appalachian Mountains, known for its soft, dark green needles with a silvery underside. It is highly valued as a Christmas tree due to its excellent needle retention and strong, upward-curving branches. 

 The Norway Spruce is a fast-growing evergreen tree native to Europe, characterized by its pyramid shape and sharp, dark green needles. Though commonly used as a Christmas tree, it tends to shed needles quickly when brought indoors.
